Director Construction Management

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director of Construction Management to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and involves ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Role Overview

The Director of Construction Management oversees contractors, consultants, and project teams. The role focuses on managing stakeholder relationships and driving effective project governance across multiple workstreams. This position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in construction management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the construction management function across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Develop and implement construction execution strategies, methodologies, and delivery plans.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality, and risk management activities.
• Manage and monitor the performance of contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, progress reports, and change requests.
• Coordinate with design, development, procurement, and operations teams to ensure project alignment.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize impact on delivery.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with internal departments, government entities, contractors, and executive leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in construction management.
• Prepare executive reports and presentations on project performance, key risks, and strategic decisions.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management is required for this role.
