Qiddiya Investment Company, a visionary leader in Saudi Arabia's entertainment and cultural development sector, is seeking a Director - Group Accounting. This full-time executive position is based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province. The role offers an opportunity to join a company at the forefront of significant national development.

Role Purpose and Strategic Impact

As Director of Group Accounting, you will oversee the entire group accounting function, playing a pivotal role in establishing and refining the company's financial reporting framework and accounting policies. This position is central to leading the consolidation of financial statements across the group and ensuring strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Your contributions will directly support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analyses and enhance the overall efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in group accounting, with significant leadership experience in a similar role.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Comprehensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proven expertise in financial consolidation processes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
