About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Director - Group Accounting to oversee the group accounting function. This executive role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The Director will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial reporting framework and accounting policies, playing a pivotal role in the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Director - Group Accounting will lead and manage the group accounting team to prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting standards. This includes developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance. The role also involves overseeing the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

• Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high-performance culture.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred. A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in group accounting is required, with significant leadership experience in a similar role.
