About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Duty Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the smooth operational and managerial performance of lounge operations during assigned shifts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Duty Manager will maintain high standards of guest service, safety, and operational compliance across all lounge facilities. This role acts as the primary point of contact during shifts for operational issues, emergencies, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned shifts to ensure team members perform duties effectively and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Ensure proper presentation and availability of food, beverages, and lounge facilities in line with company standards.
  • Handle administrative tasks including staff rosters, task assignments, and shift coverage.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members.
  • Conduct shift briefings to communicate updates, service changes, and service recovery learnings.
  • Evaluate team performance and coordinate training and development activities.
  • Handle operational incidents or emergencies and deploy appropriate actions to minimize impact.
  • Oversee common areas including security, cleaning, crowd control, and customer service during assigned shifts.
  • Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
  • Liaise with airport authorities and external parties on operational matters.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality, catering, or airport operations at a supervisory or duty management level.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and positive attitude with strong decision-making and conflict management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Good command of spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Work Environment and Conditions

The work location for this role is at the Airport within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be willing to work shift duties as required by operational demands.
