About the Role

Qualified Crew is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on supporting the design and coordination of electrical systems for various engineering and construction projects. The role requires a professional with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating electrical designs. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring strict compliance with project requirements, the Saudi Building Code, and applicable international standards. The position demands strong technical design capabilities and practical experience with Revit software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs, drawings, layouts, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, low-current, and other related electrical systems as required by project specifications.
• Develop and update electrical models and drawings using Revit and other relevant design software.
• Perform essential electrical calculations, including load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate electrical designs effectively with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings to identify potential design conflicts or coordination issues proactively.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code, project specifications, and applicable international standards.
• Support technical reviews and provide timely responses to design-related comments and queries.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the entire design process.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering design software.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Revit.

Essential Skills

• Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant international standards.
• Strong technical design capabilities.
• Effective coordination and communication skills.
