About the Role

iMaker Group, a consortium with expertise in luxury villas, hospitality, and commercial developments, is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for its operations in Riyadh. The company offers comprehensive services including master planning, architecture, interior design, construction, project management, and sourcing of furniture and materials, with a global presence across Dubai, London, Riyadh, Miami, and Cairo.

Role Overview

The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for the direct supervision and daily execution of all electrical activities on the project site. This role ensures that electrical installations, including LV, MV, and related systems, are conducted safely, efficiently, and in strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules, under the guidance of the Electrical Site Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation activities, including LV, MV, and associated systems.
  • Allocate tasks and manage electrical technicians, skilled workers, and laborers to ensure productivity.
  • Execute work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and engineer's instructions.
  • Monitor manpower utilization and ensure work progresses according to the project schedule.
  • Inspect work areas to verify compliance with quality standards and correct installation practices.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other site disciplines to prevent clashes and ensure workflow.
  • Report daily progress, manpower, material needs, and site issues to the Electrical Site Engineer.
  • Ensure availability and proper use of necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Verify that delivered materials meet approved specifications and are suitable for installation.
  • Assist in the testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Identify and promptly report site constraints, technical issues, or deviations to the Electrical Site Engineer.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, site regulations, HSE procedures, and company policies.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and promote a safe working environment.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and maintain organized work areas.
  • Support quality control activities and adherence to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Assist in rectifying non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades for uninterrupted work progress.
  • Maintain records of daily activities, attendance, and completed work.
  • Support the preparation of snag lists and ensure timely completion of corrective works.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and coaching to electrical workers.
  • Assist in cable pulling, terminations, panel installation, lighting fixtures, and containment systems.
  • Stay informed about updated installation practices, materials, and technologies in the electrical field.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Electrical Diploma from a recognized Technical/Industrial Institute or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical site execution, specifically within building services, MEP, commercial, residential, or hospitality construction projects.
  • Previous experience supervising electrical teams on construction projects is required.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, shop drawings, and installation details.
  • Good understanding of electrical materials, cable types, containment systems, fittings, tools, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with testing and commissioning support activities.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and site HSE procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Understanding of project workflows and site coordination requirements.
  • Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, site-based position located in Riyadh. Occasional travel may be required.
