  • Verify proper segregation between LV, ELV, emergency, fire alarm, communication, and other electrical systems.
  • Inspect lighting installations, including fixtures, controls, emergency lighting, exit signage, and associated wiring.
  • Verify the installation of power outlets, switches, floor boxes, and other wiring devices.
  • Inspect earthing and bonding systems, including earth conductors, earth pits, bonding connections, and continuity requirements.
  • Inspect lightning protection systems, including air terminals, down conductors, and earth termination networks.
  • Witness and verify electrical testing activities such as insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, earth loop impedance, polarity, and functional testing.
  • Check functional operation and interface requirements of emergency lighting, exit signage, fire alarm, and relevant ELV systems.
  • Inspect and coordinate ELV installations including BMS, ICT, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, security, public address, and AV systems.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturers' recommendations, approved method statements, technical specifications, material submittals, and applicable international and local codes (NEC, IEC, NFPA, Saudi Building Code).
  • Review electrical installations against approved IFC drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate electrical interfaces and clearances with other disciplines to prevent rework.
  • Verify builders' work requirements associated with electrical services.
  • Adhere to the approved Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and process Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
  • Identify and document defective or non-compliant electrical works through Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs).
  • Prepare Daily Site Reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and testing activities.
  • Conduct electrical snagging and de-snagging inspections and support testing, commissioning, handover, and final acceptance.
  • Assist in verifying As-Built drawings and support testing and commissioning documentation.
  • Provide electrical input to CSC progress reports and verify the Contractor's electrical progress claims.
  • Monitor compliance with project LEED sustainability requirements relevant to electrical installations.
