QC Inspector Electrical

About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a QC Inspector – Electrical to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves inspecting and monitoring electrical installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The position is critical for maintaining high-quality standards in electrical works throughout the project lifecycle, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
• Conduct tests on electrical systems, circuits, and components in accordance with established standards.
• Review technical documentation, datasheets, and drawings for accuracy and adherence to compliance requirements.
• Identify non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure strict adherence to industry codes and standards, including IEC, NEC, IEEE, or project-specific guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams to effectively resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records, test reports, and all necessary quality documentation.
• Assist in internal and client quality audits and inspections.
• Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities from a quality assurance perspective.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in electrical quality control within project, industrial, or construction environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and testing procedures.
• Proven experience in site inspections, quality documentation, and reporting.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and QA/QC reporting tools.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on on-site quality control within various project settings.
