Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co. Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves reviewing, evaluating, and developing electrical engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications. The primary objective is to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements across various initiatives.

Role Purpose

The Electrical Project Engineer supports electrical planning, load calculations, technical evaluations, and site inspections. This ensures the effective implementation of electrical systems for new projects, renovations, and facility modifications. The position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate electrical drawings, designs, and technical specifications.
• Perform electrical load calculations and load distribution analysis.
• Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant engineering software.
• Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and power distribution systems.
• Evaluate electrical requirements for new projects, renovations, and facility modifications.
• Prepare technical assessments, electrical Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to review electrical designs and resolve technical issues.
• Support site inspections and verify electrical works against approved drawings and specifications.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on-site to oversee and manage electrical projects.
