About the Role

Four Points is seeking an Electrician to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves responding to guest repair requests and performing a range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across various systems and equipment, contributing to guest satisfaction and adherence to company standards within the Four Points by Sheraton community, a brand of Marriott International.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests, communicating effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for operational integrity.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved programs and standards.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, ensuring thorough cleanup.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various equipment, plumbing (*, unclogging drains), and electrical components (*, lamps, switches, outlets).
• Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
• Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system before commencing any maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, including external landscaping sprinklers.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training; and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or ** equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting is preferred. No previous experience is strictly required for this role.
• License: A valid Driver’s License is required.

Essential Skills

• Basic knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier tasks with assistance.
• Capability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
