ELV Technician

About the Role

Mohammed Mansour Al-Rumaih (MMR KSA) is seeking an ELV Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the installation, operation, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems within a data center environment. The technician will work under the supervision of an Electrical Engineer to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain ELV systems, including access control, CCTV, fire alarm integration, and structured cabling.
• Support Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) connectivity for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on ELV devices and cabling infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to ELV system faults and escalate complex issues to the Electrical Engineer.
• Assist in installing and commissioning ELV systems during upgrades or expansions.
• Ensure proper labeling, routing, and termination of cables according to established standards.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Maintain cybersecurity measures for ELV and monitoring systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, configurations, and incidents.
• Report system status and work completion to the Electrical Engineer.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in ELV systems.
• Proven experience with access control, CCTV, fire alarm interfaces, structured cabling, and monitoring platforms.
• Familiarity with data center environments is preferred.

• Strong technical skills in ELV system installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system faults effectively.
• Adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence within a data center. The role involves working closely with an Electrical Engineer and adhering to strict operational and safety guidelines.
