Site ELV Inspector

About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Site ELV Inspector to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems on construction projects. The inspector ensures that all ELV works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, applicable standards, and health and safety regulations. The role requires collaboration with contractors, consultants, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ELV systems across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect ELV installation works to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure installation quality meets project expectations.
• Review material deliveries and verify compliance with approved material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports, observations, and non-conformance reports as needed.
• Monitor day-to-day ELV construction activities including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, public address systems, audiovisual systems, ICT infrastructure, BMS integration, and associated interfaces.
• Verify contractor progress against approved schedules and project milestones.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, civil, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities for ELV systems and review related documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders, participating in site meetings and technical reviews.
• Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection documentation, and progress reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in ELV systems, ICT, networking, or security systems are preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in ELV inspection, supervision, construction, or engineering roles within engineering consultancy, PMC, contractor, or developer organizations.
• Proven experience inspecting ELV systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, industrial, or mixed-use development projects.
• Strong experience delivering projects within the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, or other GCC markets.
• Experience in construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and contractors.
