About the Role

Aventus is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join a leading international bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing workplace investigations, ensuring adherence to Saudi Labour Law, and providing support to managers on complex employee matters. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a fair and compliant working environment within a highly regulated financial services setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support employee investigations, including disciplinary matters, grievances, misconduct cases, and whistleblowing complaints.
  • Conduct interviews, gather evidence, prepare investigation reports, and ensure all cases are managed fairly and confidentially.
  • Advise managers and HR teams on employee relations matters in line with KSA Labour Law, internal policies, and best practice.
  • Manage employee grievances and labour disputes from initial complaint through to resolution.
  • Support disciplinary hearings, appeals, and formal employee meetings.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk employee relations cases where appropriate.

Compliance and Advisory Functions

  • Ensure policies and procedures remain compliant with Saudi labour legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver guidance and training to managers on employee relations processes and workplace compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to provide practical, commercially focused employee relations advice.

Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate case records and produce regular reports on employee relations activity, trends, and key metrics.
  • Analyse recurring themes to recommend process improvements and reduce employee relations risk.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of strong employee relations experience. Prior experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment is essential for this role. Candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Saudi Labour Law and best practices in employee relations.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic international banking environment. The role requires a proactive approach to managing employee relations and contributing to a robust compliance framework.
