Role Overview

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves significant leadership and technical accountability within a specific engineering group or department. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments, often involving multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a technical group or department.
• Assume full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
• Plan and develop engineering tasks related to unique or complex problems, including exploration of subject areas, scope definition, and selection of problems for investigation.
• Develop novel concepts and approaches to engineering challenges.
• Maintain liaison with internal units and external individuals or organizations.
• Act independently on technical matters pertaining to the engineering field.
• Manage a group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating their activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering.
• Demonstrated multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, with assignments defined by broad general objectives and limits.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams.
