About the Enterprise Architect Role

Reef Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to defining, governing, and evolving the organization's technology architecture, ensuring its alignment with overall business strategy. The Enterprise Architect will establish enterprise-wide architecture standards, drive digital transformation initiatives, and provide strategic guidance across various technology domains.

Core Responsibilities

The Enterprise Architect will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining, governing, and evolving the organization's technology architecture.
• Establishing enterprise-wide architecture standards.
• Driving digital transformation initiatives.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and providing strategic guidance across applications, data, infrastructure, security, cloud, and integration domains.
• Ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value and enable a scalable, secure, and future-ready technology landscape.

Strategic Architecture and Governance

• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Define current-state, target-state, and transition architectures.
• Support executive leadership in technology investment decisions and ensure initiatives support organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain architecture principles, standards, and policies.
• Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings and govern major technology decisions across all programs.
• Review solution designs for compliance with enterprise standards.

Technology Leadership and Digital Transformation

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate business capabilities into technology capabilities.
• Identify technology opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and operational excellence.
• Provide strategic oversight for Application, Data, Integration, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and AI & Automation Architectures.
• Drive enterprise-wide modernization initiatives, including rationalizing legacy applications.
• Promote cloud-first and API-first strategies.
• Introduce AI, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate.

Portfolio Management and Risk Oversight

• Maintain the enterprise application portfolio, identifying redundant systems and opportunities for consolidation.
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and develop technology roadmaps for major platforms.
• Ensure architectural compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Identify technology risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications and Collaborative Impact

Candidates for this role should possess over 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or a related field. The role requires strong capabilities in stakeholder management, including presenting architecture strategies to executive leadership. The Enterprise Architect will also mentor Solution Architects and technical leads, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business and IT teams to help build a scalable, secure, and innovative digital ecosystem.
