About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking an Environmental Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on implementing best industry practices for environmental programs and promoting sustainable development. The Environmental Officer will ensure projects adhere to environmental principles and contribute to sustainable initiatives at various levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all environmental matters for assigned projects, yards, and facilities, including developing environmental requirements.
• Implement the Environment Management Plan (EMP) and support the development of project HSE strategies.
• Identify and disseminate information on environmental programs that integrate sustainable development.
• Monitor the environmental impact of operations, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct Environment Aspects and Impacts Analysis for all working sites.
• Recommend and implement environmental enhancement tools for air, water, land, noise, dust, and waste.
• Assist in preparing service proposal tenders and project bidding documents related to environment and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and legislative environmental requirements.
• Promote environmental awareness and conduct training programs for all operations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to sites and projects on environmental issues.
• Advise on the management and containment of various environmental issues.
• Ensure that environmental objectives and targets are identified, met, reviewed, and evaluated in collaboration with the HSE Department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• A Diploma in NEBOSH or Lead Auditor certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22301 are preferred.
• 0-6+ years of experience in the environmental field.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on environmental management within projects, yards, and facilities.
