About the ERP Operation Analyst Role

This full-time position for an ERP Operation Analyst is based in Riyadh. The role is focused on ensuring the ongoing stability, availability, and compliance of ERP applications through diligent management and monitoring.

Core Responsibilities

The ERP Operation Analyst is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of ERP systems. This includes managing release cycles, validating system changes, and conducting continuous performance monitoring to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Key Duties and Tasks

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, practices, cost optimization, and overall productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions, including HC, HSSE, Risk, and Cybersecurity.
  • Escalate problems to ensure efficient and timely resolution of cases and issues.
  • Execute all work efficiently, in alignment with annual business plans, goals, policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Provide first-level end-user support to troubleshoot basic technical issues and resolve service requests promptly.
  • Participate in ERP application release activities, including planning, validation, and deployment, to support operational consistency and business requirements.
  • Prepare update logs and documentation to ensure traceability and support audit readiness.
  • Monitor application performance and report incidents to maintain availability and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with IT teams during version rollouts and patch deployment to ensure smooth delivery and issue resolution.
  • Provide support during release testing and post-deployment reviews to validate functionality and stability.
  • Receive and document user feedback to contribute to the improvement of ERP application support and service levels.
  • Inform relevant teams about scheduled updates, outages, or service impacts to ensure user awareness and preparedness.
  • Maintain records of deployment activities, incidents, and resolutions for tracking and future reference.
  • Apply internal procedures when executing routine operational tasks to support governance and compliance.
  • Maintain logs and monitoring records of ERP bugs and issues to support timely resolution and minimize operational impact.

System Stability and Compliance

A key aspect of this role involves ensuring the ERP applications operate reliably and in accordance with all relevant compliance standards. This includes managing system changes, monitoring performance, and maintaining accurate documentation for audit purposes.

User Support and Communication

The analyst will provide essential first-level support to end-users, addressing technical issues and service requests. Effective communication with users and relevant teams regarding system updates, outages, and impacts is also a critical function of this position.

Release Management and Monitoring

This role actively participates in the ERP application release process, from planning through deployment and post-deployment review. Continuous monitoring of application performance and incident reporting are vital to maintaining system availability and minimizing disruptions.
