The Role of Ethical Auditor
QIMA is seeking an Ethical Auditor (CSCA) to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This part-time position is integral to the Consumer Goods Division, where the auditor plays a critical role in upholding ethical manufacturing standards for clients' suppliers. The role involves ensuring compliance with international standards and client-specific procedures, contributing directly to QIMA's mission of integrity and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of clients’ supplier manufacturing sites, which may occur without prior warning.
- Focus audit areas on labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and other relevant aspects, adhering to applicable international standards or client-specific procedures.
- Maintain vigilance for any violations during interactions with factory management and meticulously record all findings.
- Prepare detailed reports for clients based on audit findings.
- Execute duties with utmost integrity, recognizing the potential impact of conduct on suppliers, factory staff, and clients.
Additional Contributions
- Provide expert input in client meetings to develop custom quality control procedures tailored to specific requirements.
- Contribute ideas and insights for enhancing the quality of Operations projects.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ethical auditing and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to integrity and meticulous reporting. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of international standards and audit procedures.
Location and Work Type
This part-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role requires on-site presence for audits as detailed in the responsibilities, supporting QIMA's on-the-ground operations.
