The Role of a Wavespace Facilitator

As an EY Wavespace Facilitator (Supervising Associate / Assistant Director), you will play a central role in EY MENA's commercial strategy. This senior facilitation position involves guiding clients through innovation challenges by bringing wavespace experiences to life. It requires sector credibility, proficiency in AI and digital technology, and the ability to lead high-stakes executive conversations with senior leaders in the region. This is a highly visible role with significant client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead session experiences from scoping through delivery to output capture, ensuring all logistical, technological, and material requirements are met.
• Understand session objectives and ensure the design effectively meets them.
• Participate in design strategy for concurrent client sessions.
• Create a safe and inclusive environment for participation and input before, during, and after experiences.
• Act as a liaison with the Experience Leader/Manager and other members of the experience team.
• Understand the pursuit context for each session, contribute to output capture against pipeline opportunities, and support the hub's pre-sales discipline.
• Coordinate session logistics and resources, ensuring all elements are in place and functional.
• Contribute to building the hub's facilitation methodology and support the onboarding and development of new facilitators as the team expands.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience and confidence in facilitation or training.
• Proven track record of facilitating senior executive sessions in competitive, client-facing contexts, supported by specific examples.
• Ability to successfully deliver impactful innovation sessions.
• Sufficient literacy in AI and digital technology to lead discussions on AI strategy, automation, and digital operations with senior technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to engage confidently and credibly with senior executives (Director level and above) in high-stakes business conversations.
• External, client-facing consulting or advisory experience at a senior stakeholder level is required, not solely internal program facilitation or innovation roles.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in or deep familiarity with the Energy, Infrastructure, and Government sectors. Candidates without direct sector exposure should demonstrate credible sector learning capability during interviews.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of AI use cases in an industry or consulting context.
• Business development experience.
• Event planning experience.
• Ability to travel across the MENA region.
