About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join their full-time team. This role focuses on creating a memorable dining experience for guests beyond just serving food and beverages. The F&B Service Expert takes initiative to provide comprehensive service, ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Set tables and prepare dining areas for guests.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest requests.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
• Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
• Ensure that all guest interactions contribute positively to their overall dining experience.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and navigating various surfaces, including sloping, uneven, or slippery areas. The F&B Service Expert will manage menus, which involves reading and visually checking information. Physical tasks include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds (* kg) without assistance, and up to 50 pounds (* kg) with assistance. The role also involves reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Maintaining a safe workplace is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
