Factory Manager

About the Role

First Access Consulting is seeking a Factory Manager to oversee furniture production operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing daily factory activities, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining operational efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily furniture production to meet retail and B2B/project deadlines.
• Lead the factory workforce, including supervisors, machine operators, and production staff.
• Enforce quality control from raw materials to finished goods, aiming to minimize defects and rework.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained, available, and safe to operate.
• Implement and maintain occupational health and safety procedures.
• Manage production budgets, control material waste, and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse/Logistics to align capacity with demand and delivery commitments.
• Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory with accurate stock records.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, layout, and workflow.
• Report on production, quality, and performance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor, safety, and manufacturing regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in factory management or a similar production leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Experience in leading and managing a diverse factory workforce.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and waste reduction strategies.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence to manage factory operations directly.
