About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Family Medicine Registrar to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive medical care, focusing on diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Family Medicine department. The Registrar will be responsible for patient examination, medical history documentation, medication prescription, and the interpretation of diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities in Patient Care

  • Assess patients thoroughly and document all findings accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, necessary investigations, available treatment options, and proper medication use.
  • Provide counseling to patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare strategies relevant to their specific cases.
  • Order and meticulously review the results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
  • Ensure all obligations related to patient records are fulfilled accurately and promptly.

Operational Compliance and Collaboration

  • Adhere strictly to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, and Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines established by NCC.
  • Actively participate in all assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Maintain adherence to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and foster effective and cooperative working relationships with other NCC departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, their families, and other interested parties.
  • Complete all mandatory fire safety requirements.
  • Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance policies.

Professional Development and Quality Assurance

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities, ensuring compliance with Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality Standards and Regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Maintain an evidence-based approach in all clinical practices.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care plans.
  • Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinical area, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.

Specialized Practice

  • Exercise specific clinical privileges based on individual training, experience, and skills, in accordance with the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
  • Perform additional tasks as dictated by specialty and granted Clinical Privileges.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in family medicine or a related field. The role requires a commitment to professional medical practice and continuous learning.
