Role Overview: Finance Manager – Projects

The Finance Manager – Projects will provide financial support for project reporting within the Capability and Training sector of the Training Services Project Team. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves preparing project reports, advising on Project Sales and Profit forecasts, and ensuring adherence to Finance Policies. The role also includes compiling the Project element of the Integrated Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and direction to bid and project teams within Capability and Training.
• Identify, understand, and examine financial and commercial risks through risk reviews.
• Prepare and review CSR / SSRs quarterly in line with FPM and LCM mandates.
• Manage trading plans, challenge estimates to complete, support decision-making processes, and challenge contract performance.
• Create and challenge key IBP assumptions, and undertake the IBP process for the project area, including financial modelling of IBP baseline assumptions.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits, ensuring prompt and accurate information provision.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting to mitigate risks and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure robust financial governance and processes are in place throughout the LCM phases of the project lifecycle.
• Act as a key interface for bid teams to ensure all finance deliverables are accurately reported at Bid Status Reviews.
• Continuously improve project accounting processes, implementing best practices and leveraging technology for efficiency gains.
• Champion system and toolset changes in line with local and enterprise initiatives.
• Manage, motivate, and develop professional staff, including succession planning and training coordination.
