About the Role

AIQU is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join a major client based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in financial management and public sector accounting.

Role Context and Location

The Finance Manager will be based in Riyadh, KSA. The role is structured as a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, operating within a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for a range of financial analysis and compliance tasks, specifically within the KSA public sector context. This includes:

  • Analyzing KSA governmental budgets to ensure accurate financial planning and allocation.
  • Reconciling budget breakdowns across different GFS codes to maintain financial integrity.
  • Supporting value-for-money analysis by linking financial spending to tangible outputs, efficiency metrics, and public value outcomes.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with public-sector accounting requirements, government financial policies, and internal controls.
  • Adhering to applicable accounting standards in all financial operations.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates are expected to possess significant experience and specific expertise relevant to the role:

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience is required.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in KSA public sector budgeting and accounting is essential.
  • Professional certifications such as SOCPA or CPA are preferred.

Work Environment and Contract Details

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, KSA. The initial contract duration is for 6 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
