About the Role

Senna is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the financial reporting function, focusing on consolidation within a public sector organization.

Role Context and Objectives

The Finance Manager will operate within the Financial Reporting Consolidation function. This role is responsible for producing consolidated financial statements, coordinating audit activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Operating at a managerial level, the role holder is expected to uphold all relevant business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce group consolidated financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarterly and annual reviews and audits of consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement reports, managing their internal and external review processes.
• Ensure all consolidated financial statement reports comply with organizational policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor evolving accounting guidance, provide timely interpretations of standards, and prepare technical memorandums documenting issues.
• Create and maintain the financial reporting calendar, communicating critical deadlines for financial closing and reporting to all relevant parties.
• Communicate accounting issues and updates to evolving guidance to the management team, collaborating with the Policy and Procedure department.
• Manage communications with external auditors regarding financial statements and accounting issues to ensure alignment on accounting disclosures and decisions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with internal counterparts on policy harmonization within organizational reform initiatives.
• Produce actual-to-actual consolidation reporting.
• Assist in coordinating annual audit and quarterly review activities with both external and internal auditors.
• Produce the annual group reporting package required by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for the Finance Manager position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will also meet the following specific requirements:

• Prior supervisory experience in financial statement reporting, with a strong preference for experience within a large-scale, service-oriented industry.
• Previous experience working within Saudi Arabia and/or the broader Middle East region, including familiarity with the local regulatory environment, is preferred.
