The company is currently expanding its operations into Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Role of Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations within a specific vertical across the company. This full-time position in Riyadh involves managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and overseeing profit and loss (P&L) management. The role requires ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and developing financial strategies to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
• Lead the budgeting process and collaborate with departments to forecast revenues, costs, and capital expenditures. Monitor financial performance against budget and provide strategic analysis to management.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow planning, ensure organizational liquidity, monitor cash flow trends, and optimize working capital utilization.
• Supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate accounting practices and operational efficiency. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for team members.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit purposes and ensure timely filing of financial statements and compliance with tax regulations.
• Support senior management by providing insights from financial data, analyzing risks, and identifying opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation to inform financial decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Financial Controller position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a growing retail organization. The Financial Controller will lead a finance team and collaborate with various departments across the company's vertical operations.
