About the Role
Imploy is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time leadership position is central to overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Role Overview
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and a strong understanding of Saudi regulations and international accounting standards to drive financial efficiency and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Saudi regulations, and company financial policies.
- Develop and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and operational expenditures.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Improve financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support business growth and profitability.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of Saudi regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Proven experience in overseeing financial operations and internal controls.
Candidate Profile and Skills
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, coupled with strong leadership and people management abilities. A high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail is essential. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with the capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
