Maz Engineering is seeking a qualified Fire & Life Safety (FLS) Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to contribute to FLS design and site supervision.

The Role of FLS Engineer

The FLS Engineer will be responsible for supporting FLS design and site supervision activities. This includes coordinating with relevant authorities and ensuring that all projects comply with applicable codes and requirements. The role involves practical application of FLS principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review FLS drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise FLS-related works.
• Coordinate with Civil Defense and follow up on requirements, approvals, and procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports and track site observations through to closure.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) or Safety Engineering.
• 0-4 years of relevant FLS experience.
• Practical experience with Civil Defense requirements and procedures.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Valid SCE Engineer classification.
• Knowledge of applicable Saudi codes and NFPA standards is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require travel to various project sites to conduct inspections and supervision activities.
