About the Role

flynas is seeking a Fuel Procurement Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services required for fuel operations, focusing on achieving the best value at the right time while effectively managing procurement capital. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Procurement and Invoice Management

  • Ensure all billed items are accurately addressed and align with contractual terms with suppliers/vendors prior to invoice approval.
  • Verify that all delivered goods and performed services comply with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Confirm the accuracy of all identifying data on invoices, including contract numbers, contractor names, addresses, and invoice dates.
  • Maintain comprehensive supplier invoice data to prevent duplicate payments or billing errors.
  • Ensure all submitted costs are consistent with contract requirements, encompassing contract price, applicable taxes, and fees.
  • Reconcile fuel invoices against flight data, taking into account any unique contractual terms and conditions, such as discounts.
  • Manage and review valid supplier contracts before their submission to other departments for final review and approval.
  • Ensure meticulous bookkeeping of all supplier agreements.

Supplier and Financial Coordination

  • Address and resolve supplier invoice disputes, ensuring timely follow-up until resolution.
  • Facilitate the timely release of supplier invoices and request Statements of Account (SOA) to reconcile supplier accounts with company records.
  • Notify suppliers regarding payments made and provide all necessary relevant information.
  • Coordinate closely with the flynas finance team to ensure prompt payments to suppliers.
  • Communicate with the finance department to prioritize specific supplier payments when necessary.

Safety and Compliance

  • Submit safety reports promptly if exposed to any safety hazard or issue.
  • Understand and strictly comply with all safety precautions outlined in manuals and safety publications.
  • Immediately report all safety hazards, accidents/incidents, injuries, and damage to the concerned supervisor.
  • Actively contribute to the achievement of flynas Safety Objectives through effective execution of assigned roles and responsibilities, supporting overall safety performance and continuous improvement.

  • 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.
