Greenhouse & Landscape Supervisor

About the Role

NOFA COMPANY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Greenhouse & Landscape Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing the production of leafy greens in our state-of-the-art greenhouse facility and managing the landscaping of our site. The successful candidate will lead both the greenhouse and landscape teams, ensuring optimal growing conditions, well-kept green spaces, and sustainable practices across both areas.

Role Overview

The Greenhouse & Landscape Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations and strategic planning within both the greenhouse and landscape divisions. This position requires a deep understanding of plant biology, greenhouse operations, and sustainable agricultural practices, combined with hands-on knowledge of landscape maintenance and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of greenhouse production, including planting, watering, feeding, and harvesting of leafy greens.
• Monitor and maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, light) to optimize plant growth.
• Plan, supervise, and execute landscape projects with the in-house landscape team, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of landscaped areas and green spaces, including planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, and mulching.
• Manage irrigation systems and water use for lawns, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants, adjusting schedules according to season and weather.
• Maintain soil health in landscape areas through fertilization, composting, and soil improvement.
• Monitor landscape plants for pests, diseases, and stress, applying treatments as needed.
• Plan seasonal planting and replacement of ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs.
• Maintain landscaping tools and equipment and ensure the team operates them safely.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in greenhouse operations and landscape management.
• Demonstrated understanding of plant biology, greenhouse production techniques, and sustainable agricultural practices.
• Proven hands-on experience in landscape maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves working across both a modern greenhouse facility and various outdoor landscaped areas. The role requires active supervision and hands-on involvement in daily operations.
