Head of Project Management

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Head of Project Management to lead project management and design operations within its engineering consultancy. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves overseeing multidisciplinary projects from concept through detailed design and tender documentation. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality design delivery, effective project planning, and compliance with project schedules, budgets, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project management and design management activities across multiple projects.
• Oversee architectural, structural, civil, infrastructure, and MEP design development.
• Manage projects from concept design through detailed design and tender documentation.
• Establish project management procedures, reporting systems, KPIs, and governance standards.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure effective design integration.
• Manage client relationships and resolve project-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, building codes, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Lead and develop Project Managers, Design Managers, and technical teams.
• Oversee project performance and implement improvements to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 20 years of proven experience in a senior leadership position overseeing design and project management functions.
• Strong experience in operations, project governance, portfolio monitoring, and performance reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of multidisciplinary design coordination and project delivery.
