Heating Air Conditioning Technician

About the Role

White Art is seeking a Senior AC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. The position requires advanced technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, with 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various AC systems, including split units, package units, chillers, and VRF systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
• Inspect systems for leaks, faulty components, pressure issues, and abnormal noise or performance.
• Install new AC units and HVAC equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct commissioning, testing, and system startup procedures.
• Ensure correct refrigerant charging and proper airflow adjustment.
• Procure urgent spare parts from the local market and manage petty cash settlements with the line manager.

Diagnostic and Reporting

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify system malfunctions.
• Record all work performed, parts used, and system conditions accurately.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and log sheets.
• Communicate system status, findings, and recommendations to supervisors or clients.

Leadership and Training

• Supervise and guide junior and mid-level technicians.
• Provide on-site training on correct maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all safety rules and technical standards within the team.

Safety and Logistics

• Adhere to all company safety procedures and HVAC regulations.
• Handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in safe and optimal working condition.
• Drive the company car to transport the team and necessary tools to various job sites in cities such as Jeddah, Makkah, Medina, and Riyadh.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an AC Maintenance Technician.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC system issues.
• Ability to supervise and train junior technicians.
• Strong understanding of HVAC regulations and safety protocols.
