Heavy Equipment Operations & Maintenance Officer

About the Role

الأُسلوب الحديث MSC, a company within the IFG Holding Group specializing in equipment rental, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operations & Maintenance Officer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 0-1 years of experience. The role involves overseeing the operation and readiness of the equipment fleet and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency, minimize breakdowns and costs, and adhere to safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment operations, distribution, availability, and utilization rates.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with technicians and external workshops, following manufacturer recommendations.
• Track breakdowns, downtime, repair costs, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure equipment readiness for transport, delivery, and retrieval from client sites.
• Supervise operators and drivers, assign their tasks, and verify the validity of necessary licenses and permits.
• Update equipment records, operating hours, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory, and prepare periodic reports.
• Coordinate with the sales and rental team to meet client needs within agreed-upon deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance, preferably within the rental sector.
• Good knowledge of excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes, and other construction equipment.
• Skills in coordination, fault tracking, report preparation, and cost control.
• Knowledge of fleet management systems and Excel is considered an advantage.

Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
