About the Role

National Contracting Co Ltd is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of our heavy machinery, which is critical to our operations. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and executing necessary repairs on various types of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues in heavy equipment using diagnostic tools and techniques to ensure accurate problem identification.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to prevent breakdowns, utilizing maintenance management software to track service schedules.
• Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, applying advanced mechanical skills to restore equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance plans that optimize equipment uptime and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
• Document all repair and maintenance activities in detail, providing accurate records for compliance and accountability.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team skills.
• Assist in the procurement of parts and materials, evaluating suppliers and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology, integrating new techniques and tools to improve service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on various heavy equipment components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and maintenance management software.
