About the Role

AREEB is seeking a Home Healthcare Assistant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing compassionate and dignified personal care to patients within their homes. The role focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and monitoring their health conditions in accordance with approved care plans.

Role Overview

The Home Healthcare Assistant is responsible for delivering direct patient care, supporting hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs. This includes closely observing patient conditions, adhering to established care protocols, and reporting any changes to the HHC Nursing Supervisor. The assistant will also ensure patient safety, maintain infection control standards, and provide respectful care while offering support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety.
• Provide assistance with meals, feeding, and fluid intake as per the prescribed care plan.
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs under the instruction of the HHC nurse.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in patients' health conditions to the nursing supervisor.
• Implement infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe home care environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Support family members in maintaining continuity of daily patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided during each shift.
• Adhere to patient confidentiality, dignity, and safety policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant healthcare support role.

Work Requirements

• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to provide home visits as required by patient care plans.
