Horticulture Inspector (Saudi National)

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Horticulture Inspector to join their site-based construction supervision team for the Green Riyadh Project. This full-time position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting irrigation installation works, monitoring quality and compliance, and supporting construction activities to ensure all irrigation systems meet project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee the construction of irrigation projects for water transportation and distribution to agricultural lands.
• Plan and design irrigation fixtures and manage their installation according to specified requirements.
• Direct, through subordinate supervisors, the construction of irrigation systems such as dams, canals, and ditches, considering soil type, climatic characteristics, water supply, and return flow.
• Conduct research on soil drainage and conservation problems, applying civil engineering knowledge.
• Identify complex problems, review related information, and develop and evaluate options to implement solutions.
• Manage personal time and the time of others effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in horticulture inspection or irrigation project management.
• Demonstrated ability to inspect and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Experience in planning, designing, and overseeing irrigation system construction.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, site-based position within the construction supervision team. The role is located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working on a prestigious project with a focus on green infrastructure development.
