About the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC)

The Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) is a key entity within the Kingdom's energy sector. SPPC is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join its team in Riyadh, contributing to the strategic development and operational excellence of its human resources function.

Role Overview

The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in shaping and evolving the HR strategy, ensuring its close alignment with SPPC's overall organizational strategy, business priorities, and future workforce requirements. This full-time position involves providing strategic guidance and comprehensive oversight across various HR initiatives and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on and contribute to the development and evolution of the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall strategy, business priorities, and future workforce needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance on key HR initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, and nationalization, in collaboration with HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Advise on organizational design and workforce structuring, including the development and refinement of organizational structures, mandates, job descriptions, and job evaluation frameworks.
  • Guide and review the development and execution of culture, engagement, and employee experience initiatives to promote organizational effectiveness and performance.
  • Provide oversight and advisory input on total rewards, compensation, and benefits strategies, ensuring alignment with market trends, internal equity, and organizational objectives.
  • Advise on manpower planning and workforce optimization, supporting alignment with budgetary constraints, operational requirements, and long-term talent needs.
  • Contribute to guiding business leaders and HR teams through performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, talent identification, and development planning.
  • Provide advisory oversight on recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing channels, selection methodologies, and assessment practices.
  • Advise on HR operations governance, including payroll administration, employee relations, and grievance management, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Consult with stakeholders to analyze workforce data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to address current and future talent and organizational challenges.
  • Review and recommend enhancements to HR policies, procedures, and frameworks, ensuring continued relevance, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Advise on learning, training, and development strategies, including partnerships with external institutions, to ensure capability building aligns with business priorities.
  • Provide strategic input into HR forums, conferences, and external engagements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and thought leadership priorities.
  • Review and provide recommendations on materials to be submitted to the NRC and/or BoM, ensuring consistency, strategic alignment, and adherence to corporate governance standards.
  • Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line manager in accordance with company requirements.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant HR advisory or strategic role.
  • A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is considered a plus.
  • Professional certifications in the field of human resources are preferred.
