HSE Trainer

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced HSE Trainer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on delivering health, safety, and environmental training programs for personnel involved in a high-rise building construction project. The role is critical for ensuring workforce competency and maintaining compliance with project and legal HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE induction training for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Deliver specialized training on topics including Work at Height, Scaffolding, Lifting Operations, Tower Crane Safety, Excavation Safety, Fire Safety, PPE, and Emergency Response.
• Organize and conduct toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness programs.
• Assess worker competency through written and practical evaluations.
• Develop training materials, presentations, and assessment tools.
• Maintain comprehensive training records, attendance logs, and certification databases.
• Identify training needs through site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Support emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and other safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure all mandatory training requirements are met.
• Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture across the project site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• OSHA certification and Train-the-Trainer certification are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HSE Trainer.
• Proven experience on high-rise building, tower, or mega construction projects.

Required Skills

• Strong presentation, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
