About the HVAC Technician Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the optimal functionality of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within the property. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff through expert technical support and proactive maintenance.

Key Technical Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the mechanical plant.
• Monitor and control property temperature, and analyze energy and utilities usage to optimize performance.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other relevant equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance for pool and spa facilities.

Operational Duties and Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, actively listening and responding appropriately to their concerns.
• Ensure consistent adherence to quality expectations and standards across all tasks.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
• Capability to move in confined or elevated spaces.
• Navigate over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or a ladder.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the HVAC Technician position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical plant maintenance. A proven track record of technical proficiency and adherence to safety standards is essential for this role.
