HVAC Technician

About the Role

Dallah Healthcare is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves performing routine installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems within Dallah Health premises. The primary goal is to ensure optimal system performance and functionality, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors, while adhering to established guidelines and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine installation, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Adhere to the preventive maintenance schedule for HVAC systems and ensure compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, covering electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure smooth HVAC system installations and repairs.
• Track and adjust HVAC controls to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality levels across the premises.
• Partner with HVAC service providers and external vendors for specialized repairs, equipment procurement, and inventory management.
• Respond promptly to HVAC emergencies, such as temperature fluctuations and equipment failures.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, equipment history, and service reports.
• Generate reports detailing HVAC-related maintenance activities and recommend process improvements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to HVAC helpers in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Stay updated on emerging technological advancements in HVAC systems and recommend upgrades to enhance efficiency.

Organizational and Managerial Accountabilities

• Supervise the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to local and international standards.
• Recommend improvements to Engineering Services department policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices, focusing on cost reduction and productivity.
• Ensure the application of safety, quality, and environmental management policies.
• Build trust with internal and external stakeholders to promote compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage and assist subordinates in performing functional operations, providing guidance, mentorship, and development.
• Set performance objectives, evaluate team performance, and provide regular feedback.
• Facilitate clear communication within the team and provide feedback to management.
• Address team queries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Promote a high-performance working environment within the Engineering Services department.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in managing HVAC Systems and Technology or a related field.
