Information Technology Network Technician

About the Role

Mohammed Mansour Al-Rumaih (MMR KSA) is seeking an Information Technology Network Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a part-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS), and LAN infrastructure within the data center.

Role Purpose

The Data Center IT/OT Technician ensures the reliable operation of monitoring, control, and communication systems that bridge IT and Operational Technology (OT). This position works under the supervision of the ELV Engineer to maintain system uptime, security, and compliance within the data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Support monitoring and troubleshooting activities for BMS and EPMS.
• Maintain LAN connectivity for facility monitoring and control systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving faults across ELV, BMS, EPMS, and network systems.
• Provide first-level support for IT/OT integration issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for ELV and monitoring systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to cybersecurity protocols for OT systems and LAN infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system configurations, and incident logs.
• Report system status and issues to the ELV Engineer regularly.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV and monitoring systems during upgrades or expansions.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience with Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Proficiency in supporting Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
• Experience with LAN infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a part-time basis within a data center environment. The technician will work under the direct supervision of the ELV Engineer.
