About the Role

Salt is seeking an Information Technology Procurement Manager for an immediate hire. This is a contract position for a duration of six months, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing IT procurement activities for a leading organization in the Kingdom.

Role Overview

The IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT vendor management, from identification and selection to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management. This position requires a professional with a strong background in IT procurement to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic priorities and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Identification and Selection: Evaluate potential vendors to ensure alignment with the organization's needs, priorities, and quality standards.
• Contract Negotiation: Secure agreements that reflect the organization's strategic priorities while adhering to legal and industry standards.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, collaborative connections with vendors, ensuring they consistently meet or exceed agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Risk Oversight: Mitigate risks by monitoring compliance, data security, and vendors' financial stability to safeguard bank operations.
• Continuous Optimization: Streamline vendor management processes and reduce costs while enhancing service quality and agility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to understand specific vendor needs, offering tailored and strategic support during the selection and evaluation process.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, with a specific focus on IT procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Strong understanding of IT industry standards and best practices in procurement.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a contract basis for six months. The successful candidate will join a leading organization and contribute to its procurement functions.
