About the Role

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector – Architectural Finishes to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves conducting comprehensive quality inspections of architectural finishes across construction and renovation projects. The Inspector will ensure all finishes comply with established standards, specifications, and Saudi Arabian building codes, while maintaining meticulous documentation and clear communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of architectural finishes, including paint, flooring, wall treatments, ceilings, and other surface applications.
  • Verify compliance with project specifications, architectural drawings, and applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Assess the quality and workmanship of all finish installations and identify any deficiencies or deviations.
  • Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and written observations.
  • Communicate inspection results to project managers, contractors, and other relevant parties in a clear and professional manner.
  • Recommend corrective actions for non-conforming work and verify that corrections have been completed satisfactorily.
  • Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to resolve finish-related issues and ensure project timelines are maintained.
  • Perform material testing and verification to confirm that finishes meet required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct final inspections to certify that architectural finishes are complete and acceptable for project closeout.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive quality inspections of architectural finishes.
  • Strong understanding of construction standards, specifications, and building codes, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficiency in documenting inspection findings and communicating results effectively.
