Arch/ Soft Finishes Inspector (Saudi National)

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Landscape Arch/Soft Finishes Inspector to join its site-based construction supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a Saudi National and involves working on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes parks, open spaces, and streetscapes. The program aims to create an environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and promptly address Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor.
• Assist in reviewing submitted shop drawings for compliance with contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
• Report any work carried out by contractors that does not conform to approved drawings and specifications to relevant stakeholders for action.
• Monitor the quality of executed works and daily site progress.
• Maintain daily records of site activities, including progress photos, ensuring they are available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required.
• Ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input to resolve discipline-related issues that may arise on-site.
• Inspect construction works to ensure adherence to approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections and executed work.
• Assist in or measure completed work when necessary.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must be a Saudi National.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Ad Dir'iyah, Saudi Arabia, as part of a site-based construction supervision team. The position is full-time.
