Inspector Arch/ Soft Finishes Inspector

About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Landscape Arch/Soft Finishes Inspector to join the site-based construction supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a Saudi National and involves working on a significant public realm development in Diriyah, which includes parks, open spaces, and extensive streetscapes.

Project Context

The project aims to develop a vibrant and inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being across Riyadh and Ad Dir'iyah. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of landscape and soft finishes work within this large-scale development.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and promptly act on Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings against contract documents, local codes, and international best practices.
• Report any non-compliant works to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor the quality and progress of executed works daily.
• Maintain daily site activity records, including progress photos, for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
• Ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and other disciplines.
• Provide technical input to resolve on-site discipline-related issues.
• Inspect construction works for compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections and executed work.
• Assist in or measure completed work when necessary.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must be a Saudi National.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This position is site-based within a construction supervision team, focusing on a major public realm development in Diriyah, Riyadh.
