About the Role: Civil Inspector

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the quality and compliance of infrastructure projects. The role involves monitoring contractors' work, verifying adherence to specifications and approved drawings, and providing precise daily reporting to management.

Role Summary

The Civil Inspector will serve as a key point of oversight on project sites, ensuring that all road works and related activities meet contractual and technical standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to operate independently while fostering collaboration within the broader project team. The inspector will be instrumental in maintaining project integrity and quality throughout the construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of all ongoing road works to ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Monitor and provide daily progress reports to line management regarding all contractor activities on road projects.
• Inspect, verify, and document that work is being executed in strict accordance with approved methodologies.
• Check for adherence to site instructions and report any findings or deviations to the Resident Engineer (***
• Inspect and confirm the locations of services, ensuring their proper protection throughout the construction process.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of civil infrastructure work.
