About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment at client sites. The role involves ensuring equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards, and requires a proactive approach to analyzing complex mechanical problems and implementing effective solutions in field environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and test mechanical equipment and systems according to technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures using analytical methods and specialized tools.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation for all field activities.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to coordinate field activities and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies at all job sites.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and field staff when required.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and equipment tools efficiently.
  • Travel to various job sites as needed to support project requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols.
