About the Role

Badael Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an International Commercial Planning Sr. Manager for a full-time position. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to the business, providing financial insights, planning, forecasting, and decision support to drive sustainable growth and effective resource allocation across international markets.

Strategic Commercial Planning and Forecasting

• Develop and lead international commercial planning processes, ensuring alignment between business strategies, financial objectives, and growth priorities.
• Translate commercial strategies and operational plans into financial forecasts, performance expectations, and actionable insights.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support market expansion, resource allocation, and long-term business growth.
• Lead revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities for international commercial operations.
• Develop forward-looking financial analysis, scenarios, and projections to support business planning and decision-making.
• Monitor key commercial performance indicators and provide management with insights on business trends and opportunities.

Commercial Finance and Profitability Management

• Provide financial oversight of revenue, pricing strategies, discounts, rebates, trade investments, and customer profitability.
• Evaluate commercial agreements and initiatives to ensure financial viability and alignment with profitability objectives.
• Develop business cases and financial models to assess opportunities, investments, risks, and expected returns.
• Provide constructive challenge to commercial decisions to ensure sustainable value creation and effective resource allocation.
• Analyze business performance against financial targets, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.

Business Partnership and Financial Governance

• Act as a trusted finance partner to Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other business functions across international markets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, optimize commercial performance, and improve financial outcomes.
• Support cross-functional decision-making by providing accurate financial insights and recommendations.
• Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Establish and enhance commercial finance processes, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools to improve decision support.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and governance requirements across commercial activities.

Team Leadership and Operational Excellence

• Manage and supervise team members, setting clear objectives and expectations, monitoring performance, and providing regular feedback.
• Support and coordinate employee development and training initiatives.
• Implement departmental plans and ensure alignment with defined business objectives, coordinating execution and reporting on progress.
• Support and manage budget preparation, implement cost control within the team, and track expenditures against approved budgets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement in commercial planning and performance management practices.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in commercial planning, financial analysis, or a similar strategic finance role within an international business context.
