About the Role
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking an Inverto Manager Digital Data & AI to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves shaping the future of procurement and supply chain by implementing digital and AI-based solutions for market-leading clients. The Manager will be part of Inverto Riyadh, backed by BCG, and will contribute to a growing center of excellence focused on Digital, Data & AI.
Role Context
The Manager will translate insights into action, working directly with clients to implement digital and AI solutions that unlock value and shape their technological future. This position requires leading stakeholder conversations, translating workshop insights into clear sourcing strategies, and delivering recommendations for business-critical decisions. The role offers opportunities for professional development within a fast-growing practice and center of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver strategic Data & AI engagements, overseeing end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and AI projects across procurement and supply chain use cases.
- Manage workstreams involving data transformation, predictive modeling, automation, and GenAI applications, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Engage with digital, IT, and business leadership, preparing and leading senior client meetings, steering committees, and workshops.
- Translate complex data and AI concepts into clear, actionable recommendations that drive measurable business impact.
- Lead the design and execution of analytical solutions, from data pipelines and dashboards to predictive models and AI-enabled tools.
- Synthesize insights from large, complex datasets and build robust, data-backed business cases for transformation initiatives.
- Drive the development of new digital and AI offerings, reusable assets, and scalable solutions, contributing innovative ideas on emerging technologies.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, client pitches, and opportunity assessments, applying subject-matter expertise in data, analytics, and AI.
- Act as a mentor and coach for junior team members, providing guidance on technical and analytical approaches.
- Lead the creation and refinement of internal tools, code libraries, benchmarks, and best practices to strengthen the firm’s data and AI knowledge base.
- Take ownership of roles within the Data, Analytics & AI community, supporting recruitment, capability building, and training initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience with a proven ability to lead client engagements, manage teams, and drive project outcomes in data and analytics contexts.
- Strong experience with data analysis, visualization, and transformation tools (*, SQL, Power BI, Excel), combined with hands-on expertise in Python for analytics, automation, or AI workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms and/or modern data ecosystems.
- Practical exposure to AI and GenAI technologies (*, LLMs, APIs, retrieval-based systems, or workflow orchestration tools) and their business applications.
- Ability to translate complex business problems, particularly in procurement and supply chain, into scalable analytics and AI solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical and business audiences.
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive, ownership-oriented approach and high personal accountability.
- Consulting mindset and behaviors, including independence, structured thinking, clear communication of insights, and the confidence to influence clients and stakeholders.
