About the Role

DXC Technology is seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for individuals passionate about technology and eager to build a career in infrastructure and cloud services. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of our IT environment, working with various servers, operating systems, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure operational stability.
Assist with the management and support of VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms.
Provide support for cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Help automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Work with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Document systems, procedures, and operational activities accurately.
Collaborate with engineers to deliver reliable platform services.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a relevant technology field.
Demonstrated passion for technology and a strong desire to develop a career in infrastructure and cloud services.

Required Skills

Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.
Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is beneficial.
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for task automation.
Understanding of fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively within an engineering team to support and maintain critical IT infrastructure.
